Vita Milogore Fishermen’s Park is a project located in El Max, Alexandria, aimed at achieving socio-economic and climate-change resilience. The project spans 30 feddans of landscaped area and is organized into four primary zones, each contributing to the project’s overall resilience strategy.

The project achieves socio-economic resilience by providing a diverse mix of functions arranged to ensure stable, year-round income rather than seasonal revenue. It also enhances resilience to climate change through integrated landscape solutions that leverage climate conditions rather than being adversely affected by them.

Project Concept

El Alamein was once a place of destruction and war, where bombs were scattered everywhere, preventing the existence of life and development. After the war ended, El Alamein transformed into a place with great potential for growth and development.

The building is conceived as the outcome of a bomb explosion. Both the building and the surrounding landscape represent the transformation from a place of destruction and war into a place of development and construction.

Accordingly, the building functions as a hobby center and residential facility, accommodating a wide range of activities—from sports to the arts—along with the necessary services and living spaces. The project aims to transform the site from a place once defined by destruction into a place of growth, creativity, and opportunity for youth and talent.
